About:
NorthConnex is a nine kilometre twin tunnel motorway linking the M1 Pacific Motorway at Wahroonga to the Hills M2 Motorway at West Pennant Hills. The $3 billion project was delivered by the NorthConnex Project Company (Transurban) in partnership with the Australian and NSW Governments, and was constructed by a joint venture partnership comprising Lendlease and Bouygues.

Role:
Coprex provided specialist communications and engagement services during the final stages of delivery and into operation. Reporting to the Communications Director, Robert was responsible for:

Drafting and execution of the opening community and stakeholder engagement and media protocols strategies.

Production of all video and image content. This included social media videos, the tunnel tour video, driver education videos, photography of major milestones and events, and marketing shoots.

Delivery of strategic and tactical media opportunities and response to media enquiries.

Chairing of the opening day communications working group which included representatives from the NorthConnex project team, Transurban, Transport for NSW and the contractor.

Drafting of regular stories and content for the Transurban social media channels, website and intranet.

Production and delivery of collateral and presentations to the community and key stakeholders.
